Navigating advertising since 2007, married life since 2008, motherhood since 2015, and the socials seriously since 2020, Mrs Winderley knows the difference between a mom bun and a top knot.

As a creative director, crafting content is her happy place, as an award-winning copywriter, captions are her superpower. Where others see a side hustle, she sees a household name under construction. Working with big brands is one thing but collaborating with small businesses with big dreams is everything.

Yes, I totally talk about Mrs Winderley in the third person because she’s way cooler than me.

This website is here because a friend told me, “Mrs Winderley needs a website.”

And a blog. And a mailing list. But… one thing at a time.

Seriously, we all need that friend who says, “Well done, I’m proud of you, what’s next?” If you’re reading this, consider it a sign that your ‘next’ is stepping up your socials game, because you need to. We all do. And it’s estimated that there’s just 12 months of organic growth left on Tik Tok. Just saying.

“For me ‘influence’ boils down to being fluent in integrity. Faux fur? Fab!

Fake followers?

Not a vibe.”

— Mrs Winderley

After being asked more times than I can count, “Would you ever consider being a social media mentor/coach?” And answering, more times than I can count, “I’d love to but just don’t have the time.” I recently took the plunge, bit the bullet, ripped the comfort zone band aid off and quit my day job in Ad Land, boldly announcing on the Gram; “Yes, let’s do it!”

It’s not about doing it for you, it’s about up-skilling you to do it for yourself, your passion project, your personal brand, or all of ‘em.

Fun Fact:

I went from 0k followers to 100k+ followers on Tik Tok in just six months, and, even though I only have 6k+ followers on Instagram, if you want me to post for your brand, I’m pleased as punch to be able to say, “Speak to my agent.”

When the twenty-somethings at the office said, “Insta is the new website, Tik Tok’s the new Insta, get on it!” I reluctantly listened. And I’m so darn glad I did. In six months I’ve built a community of over 100k.

Social Media Coaching

Working hard for something we don’t care about is called stress. Working hard for something we love is called passion.
— Simon Sinek

They say it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert at something. Well, I’ve put in the 10,000 hours and then some. I know what works and what doesn’t because I’ve personally been the guinea pig. This means that one hour with me is worth hours of your precious time. And, I speak ‘human’, not jargon-soaked gobbledy gook, which helps. So, whether you’re pre-heating the oven when it comes to social media, or looking to perfectly position the cherry on top. I think you’ll like what I have to say.

Content Creation

Without strategy, content is just stuff, and the world has enough stuff.
— Arjun Basu

Over the years, I’ve assembled a dream team of photographers, videographers, stylists, makeup artists and hairstyling magicians, which means assembling a dream team for your content shoot (stills, video or both) that fits your budget and realises your vision is easy peasy. Plus, I’ve got over a decade as a creative director in Ad Land under my waist-cinching belt, so you get that, too.

Copywriting

A true piece of writing is a dangerous thing, it can change your life.
— Tobias Wolff

As an award-winning copywriter, my name is synonymous with the term ‘wordsmith’, so if your website or blog needs some copy love in the form of well-crafted, attention-grabbing words, let’s chat copy editing, copy refinement and copy generation rates. Need SEO? I can quote on that, too.

“I firmly believe that your vibe attracts your tribe and big numbers don’t necessarily equate to big influence. As a nano and micro-influencer, I’ve been able to land some pretty big press drops, paid partnerships, brand ambassadorships and motivational speaking gigs. And, built a personal brand from an Instagram handle and a smartphone.”

That feeling in your gut, that fear of failing, the thing you’re observing as a bystander, leaving you with a feeling of FOMO, that’s the chapter of your story waiting, no, begging, to be written.

So, silence your inner critic, give your inner cheerleader the microphone, and just START.

Every household name was once a name no one knew. Remember that.
